Everyone in my family hates pumpkin except for me. It also doesn't help that these look really ugly! Since I wasn't going to get any help from anyone, I skipped the frosting. It wasn't easy eating all of these myself even though I quartered the recipe. Pacing myself at 2 to 3 a day, I eventually finished them. I'm making this sound like hard work... which it was especially after day 2, but when they were all gone I actually missed them. I doubt I'll be making another batch soon though!
Thanks to Kim of What the Whisk for choosing this recipe!
They look pretty to me! :-D
ReplyDeleteI would have happily helped you eat them :)
ReplyDeleteYour marzipan pumpkin is perfect!!
It's funny how people either like pumpkin or they don't - there are many people who are just on the fence. These were a big hit at my house, although I did not make the marzipan.
ReplyDeleteThey look fine to me!
ReplyDeleteLook at your cute lil pumpkin. And your mini cakes look delish too.
ReplyDeleteSorry these weren't a hit. They are cute though and I love the little pumpkin. Thanks for baking along with me this month.
ReplyDeletethey look more like cookies to me lol. and i thought they were frosted. oops. i still think they look delish!
ReplyDeletecute pumpkin. I always think I don't like pumpkin...but really I do. I just don't like pumpkin pie.
ReplyDeleteI see you are Canadian - and after all the Thanksgiving/pumpkin baking I consumed last weekend, I was pumpkined out. Maybe I would have liked these cupcakes better last week
I think your cupcakes look fine and so glad YOU enjoyed them! Love your little pumpkin.
ReplyDeleteYour cupcakes & your lil pumpkin there are adorable!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed them! I think they look fine :) The little pumpkin is adorable!
ReplyDeleteYours look especially orange-y - did you add extra pumpkin? They also look supermoist - yum! The marzipan pumpkin is too cute!
ReplyDeleteYou are hilarious! I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love the orange color and how moist they look. I would have eaten all of them in one day. Oink, oink.
Thanks for baking with us this month!
Did I mention that you are awesome? Well, you are. ;)
These WERE moist - extra moist - so glad you enjoyed them. You can tell - they look fantastic! That pumpkin is perfect - nicely done!
ReplyDeleteit's sometimes fun to eat it all yourself! you could freeze them, too, and take them out for breakfast when needed! they look yummy and love the little pumpkin!
ReplyDeletethe little pumpkin is so cute!
ReplyDeletePopped in from Donna's to say hi! They look so tasty though!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, I know how that feels. I have family who shy away from most baked goods, which I love making. So what I do is actually make a small fraction of the recipe- think 1/8th or so- it keeps my math skills honed and I make just enough for myself for a day or two....but it is a lot of work for so little :)
ReplyDeleteOh, a family of pumpkin haters?! Oh no! These look great and I hope you enjoy eating them up! - mary the food librarian
ReplyDeleteI wish I could have been there to help you out, I love pumpkin and these look fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI think they look kinda cute.

We weren't too wild about the idea of pumpkin originally either, but the cream cheese frosting was the definitive answer...LOL! Yours look lovely just as they are.
ReplyDeleteLol oh no that's not good that you forced yourself to eat them all! I loooove pumpkin muffins. I don't think they look ugly at all!
ReplyDeleteI am a sucker for anything pumpkin and these look like they would satisfy any craving!
ReplyDeleteThese pumpkin muffins look pretty okay to me! I know they were delicious! I love the taste of pumpkin in baked goods. Very nice!
ReplyDeleteI think they look lovely. Gorgeous color, and very cute. Bet they tasted yummy. I adore pumpkin in baked goods.
ReplyDeleteI think they look good, especially next to that cute litte pumpkin. I quartered the recipe as well, thinking I would be the only one eating them. However, my husband ended up liking them and helping me out, lol.
ReplyDeleteYour family just doesn't know the goodness they missed - lucky you. These were good nekked. Definitely a keeper.
